Aloha, I am
Most know me as JMV or Jake. Been a Waterman since I was 5 yrs old. Parents used to drop me off at the beach from sun up to sun down. Pursued my passion of becoming a Professional Bodyboarder in 2005 which I am very much active in. Not so much competing but more free surf.

Photography was always in my DNA as I could define details and art behind each image. From a serious stand point photography started when I got sponsored by GoPro in 2011. From then on it kept escalating to bigger things. Purchasing my first DSLR camera in 2013 and actually selling my first image the following year. It’s been a great journey that is never ending. From technology to traveling around the world capturing beauty that surrounds us. That is my goal which is my perspective of living! Overall happiness comes from expressing them in images.
